Rivers questions

 Today in class we did some questions about the Langston Hughes poem The Negro Speaks of rivers. These questions were not my favorite of things we have done so far, although I can see how they were important. The questions were just like the rest of the poem seeming simple on the outside but deeply thought provoking on the inside. I am looking forward to starting a new poem tomorrow and possibly uncovering some of Hughes’s hidden messages.

Substitute

 Today we had a sub in class and worked on a sheet given by Mr. Reads. This sheet was boring and I did not enjoy it. I figure there is not a lot of things you can do when you are not there to teach the class and are required to give a grade by the school board. It is what it is and Mr. Rease will be back tomorrow so we can read our play like normal
